Stewardship 2020: We Will, with God’s Help

Stewardship Season for this challenging year of 2020 kicked off with a letter from our vicars, Mtr. Heather and  Fr. Keleawe, followed by a second letter from the Stewardship 2020 Team, accompanied by a brochure and pledge card. Your 2020 Stewardship Team includes Elizabeth Conklin, Julia Jackson, Paul Jackson, and chair Matt Brown.

This year’s theme is Faith Filled Generosity: We Will With God’s Help. You will be invited to take a moment to reflect on our individual and collective callings as members of the Body of Christ, and how we each are blessed by our Lord with gifts to seek and serve Christ in those around us.

Starting on Sunday, October 4, and each successive Sunday through November 22, members of our faith community will share their stories of invitation and thanksgiving at the beginning of each 10:00 am streamed service. There will also be a special printed reflective meditation from clergy and lay leaders from around the world sharing their thoughts about the idea of Faith Filled Generosity in each Sunday service bulletin.

It is our fervent prayer that these times of sharing, meditation, and reflection in support of this year’s stewardship focus on Faith Filled Generosity: We Will With God’s Help will be meaningful to you each in your faith journeys.

On November 29 we will dedicate this year’s pledges to doing God’s work out into the world around us as we move in faith remembering these words:

Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.
