Stewardship 2020 Update

Stewardship is a cherished practice of the Episcopal Church and helps us connect our lives to the mission of The Cathedral of St. Andrew. Our gifts provide vital revenue for the maintenance and operation of the cathedral and support our excellent clergy who provide pastoral care and engage us in prayer, outreach and activism. With our annual financial gifts, we give thanks for the blessings we receive and share with others in service.

Our goals is to engage 100 households and to raise $200,000 in pledges for 2021. Our hope is that everyone in our warm-hearted cathedral community will participate.

Stewardship enables us to be a part of something bigger than each of us alone.

Pledge cards are starting to come in, for which we are all very thankful. As of November 17, we have $178,884 in pledges from 74 diferent pledging individuals. Our total last year was $216,092 from 106 pledgers, so we have a long way to go. This year is, of course, especially challenging as we have been limited in both attendance and activities by the coronavirus epidemic. Many of our winter visitors are not able to join us in Hawaii this year, and many of our local Cathedral family have been unable to attend in person due to health concerns.
