During this time of COVID-19, there is a greater need to feed the homeless and many others who are hungry. Wallyhouse, a ministry of Catholic Charities operating in a facility of St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church, is responding to this challenge. They provide bags of groceries to families, as well as sandwich lunches plus other food items to individuals. Cathedral members as well as the office staff prepare over 100 lunches every week, including a sandwich, fruit, chips, and a sweet. Cathedral volunteers also help stuff the bags of groceries for distribution.
