Kirkin o’ the Tartan celebrates St. Andrew, Nov. 30, 2019


The Saint Andrew Society of Hawaii (SASH) held its annual Kirkin’ o’ the Tartans  on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at 5:30 pm at the Cathedral.  The church service was led by Celtic Pipes and Drums of Hawaii, and included Evensong, with the Cathedral Choir singing service music by Thomas Tallis, Orlando Gibbons, and Harold Friedel, conducted by Leohone Magno. The service was followed by Scottish dancing, bagpipes, awards, prize drawing, silent auction, & more! There was an investiture ceremony for our new members, during which they receid their Saint Andrew Society of Hawaii Orders.
