Farewell Message from Fr. Moki

Dear Cathedral Ohana:

I am writing to let you know that I have accepted a position to be Priest-in-Charge at Church of the Good Shepherd in Wailuku, Maui. I will begin on August 1st. As you may or may not know, I was ordained to the Priesthood at Good Shepherd and, like the Cathedral, it holds a special place in my heart.

This Sunday will be my last Sunday with you and I will be at all three services and hope to have a chance to say aloha under the Diamond Head Tent after each service.

To date, over half my ordained ministry has been on Queen Emma Square and I am grateful to Bishop Fitzpatrick and all of you for a full, meaningful, and rewarding time. Your undying support means more to me than words can express and I look forward to continuing as a priest in our diocese and to seeing you all again from time to time when I’m back on Oahu for family and church business.

You have all been an incredible blessing to me.

With much aloha, I am,
Faithfully yours,
