Responding to the Immigration Crisis: What are the unique contributions that the Church can offer to the movements addressing the crises in our communities and world at this historic moment? With Christopher Derige Malano, Administrator of the Newman Center at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.

New Mahjong group meets in the Manger (former Dean’s office) Mondays at 9 am, starting July 10! Come play, or learn to play Mahjong in the Manger! Mahjong is an ancient Chinese table game that is popular today. All are welcome!  Here’s an introductory guide!

Please help the Outreach Committee fill bags with food and other items for the homeless after the Sunday 10:30 service in the Van Holt room. Doesn’t take long with a few extra hands! Children can be a big help too.

The Gospel Reflections program continues Sundays 9:15-10 am in the Manger (former Dean’s office). It is based on the African Bible Study process previously used here by Dan Benedict and colleagues. No long term commitment is needed, just come as you are and when you can. Please join us promptly at 9:15, our start time, as to not disturb the beginning of the reflection process. In response to some questions, YES we are continuing through the summer!

Outreach Committee Announces School Supplies Drive for 2017 During the month of July, there will be an in-gathering of school supplies and slippers on each of the five Sundays of the month. Please bring school supplies or slippers and place them in the plastic bin under the Aloha Hour tent. They will be delivered to our partner school Kalihi Waena on Monday, July 31st.

The Cathedral Office will be closed Thursday July 13 for a Cathedral Staff Retreat.

The Book Club at St. Andrew’s will be on hiatus for the summer, and will reconvene in the Fall.
